BIOGRAPHY & INTRODUCTION
A recent graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, Dylan is currently completing his articles at Bytensky Shikhman. He plans to join the firm as an associate following his call to the bar.
Before law school, Dylan was interested in becoming a professor and completed graduate studies on a full scholarship. However, he decided that he wanted to apply his analytical skills in a more practical way and chose to go to law school instead.
In law school, Dylan quickly earned recognition for his strong academic performance. He decided to focus on criminal law and studied under many leading criminal law practitioners, scholars, and judges. He worked as a research assistant for several professors and summered with respected criminal defence boutiques, where he was exposed to many aspects of legal practice. He also served as President of the Runnymede Society, an organization of Canadian lawyers and scholars who believe in fundamental freedoms, constitutionalism, and the rule of law.
Since joining Bytensky Shikhman, Dylan has received close mentorship while working on a wide variety of cases. He looks forward to continuing his career with the firm.
